Opening Lines of My Autobiography
If I were to write my autobiography, my first sentence would be…
I had always planned to attend my father’s funeral when he dies. I knew I wouldn’t be invited but I had every intention to attend. He died in November 2011 of esophageal cancer.

That’s deep , if I ever wrote it i would say ,” People told me I was jealous from the very starting of my life, and I was , but I never meant to harm them .” Lol it gives suspense to my autobiography 😂( i didn’t hurt anyone, don’t take me wrong 😂)

As autofiction has been in since Knausgård’s famous series “My Struggle”, we would study the work of Sheila Heti, Tao Lin, Ben Lerner and other writers of that genre.

This one pricked my soul, dear Sara. My father died in 2011 of lung cancer. My heart goes out to you and words may do little to bring comfort, but wishing you love and peace.
