My Teenage Self

Inna Turmoil

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

What advice would I give to my teenage self…

I would tell myself:

You are a human being with feelings.

Allow yourself to grieve, to feel anger, sad, disappointed, hurt, used…

You are not guilty!

You are worthy!

Be kind to yourself.

  1. I’m working on it Sara,
allowing myself all things that I wasn’t allowed as a kid. Things like you can have water or use toilet whenever you feel like it. These were the biggest ones that my mom yelled at me when I was six. Like I wasn’t human, but today I’m human, I can drink water and pee as much as I want. Good times come to those who wait

  2. Beautiful as always, Sara ❤️ such a shame at that young age we would have to feel guilty for anything, I hope you aren’t internalizing pain now, and I love your healing artwork 🎨 so lovely, like you! 😀 💕

    1. Thank you, Laura ❤️ It’s so wrong that children can feel such extreme guilt (unfounded). It’s still a work in progress, but I’m certainly getting there…painting is the release and expression.
Thank you again, for your lovely words.
      Happy Sunday! 😁💃💕
