This city is located in The Valley of the Sugar Mills. The ‘Plaza Mayor’ has cobblestone streets, pastel coloured houses, with Spanish Colonial architecture. It has a Cathedral in the main square.

Amazing pictures Sara! I can only imagine what an adventure that was. You got the helicopter ride and everything! 🤩 And that door looks right out of one of your paintings.

It was an adventure, the return helicopter flight was hair raising. There was an electrical storm and we flew through it.
The doors in Cuba are fab, I could paint doors forever… 😍

The houses and the cathedral remind me of the homes and churches in my hometown of Puerto Rico. However, I know that’s not where you are. Since your last post was in Havana, I’m guessing you’re still somewhere in Cuba, though I’m not sure which town.
