Facing Demons: A Year of Transformation

Hope, ink, paper, art, painting, picture

Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?

A year ago, I didn’t have a picture of how my life would be today.

I knew I had some major demons to face, turn myself inside out…so to speak.

I knew what I had to do…

The idiom: Open ‘Pandora’s Box’.

After facing the contents of the box, my picture today is:

HOPE

  1. Hope …… what a word it is , we all just hope , I feel a lot of emotions when I hope . It has been a while since I hoped for something . It’s a beautiful word that hides a lot of pain underneath , last year I hoped for something , the end was not well but I found a new concept of life . Thanks for this beautiful post .

  2. The painting is a good representation of then and now. Colors making themselves known, the darkness dissipating, there’s so much light to look forward to.
    My daughter sees colorful leaves.
    Love this painting 😍😍😍

    1. Sara you picture of Hope is wonderful. It captures what our own journey of hope is like. The summer days of blue skies and bright sunlight, that’s what my idea of hope is. Better days to come.

Thank you for sharing. I’m glad you can hold hope in your heart too, don’t let that go!

      1. Can you describe your picture of hope? I didn’t read all the comments or know your story, but it looks like stained glass of brain becoming healthy and all the different connections we make through dark and light and the progression of the the light.
