    1. Hi, I live in Cardiff, it was in the red warning area. It was scary wasn’t it. I didn’t go outside at all, I hid indoors 😅. Beautiful sunshine today, and quite still!
I hope you have a lovely walk today! 🤗🌻

      1. Wow! That makes sense then. That alerts should be automatically activated isn’t it? I don’t remember to be informed of that, but neither refused to have it. I already had to refuse keep going to work couple of Sundays ago when the last Storm before this one. Glad you have sun shining today! Here still raining, but at least less windy and chilly, so I went out for a bit😊

      2. Yes, it was a government warning, which is automatically activated.
I wasn’t informed or knew about it…until the siren went off on my phone! It frightened the life out of me 🤣😂.
I’m glad you got to go out, and not get blown away! 🤗

      3. Hahaha, it must be frightening!!! I know that in my born country, Spain, it is activated, but the Government did inform about a simulation and then recently, with the flooding in some Mediterranean areas, citizens were informed.

      4. Yes, two weeks ago a lot of people’s homes were completely flooded, severe land slides…(10 miles from Cardiff) in Pontypridd. They had no warning!
Terrible flooding in València…it was awful!

  2. Stay safe. I know there were weather warnings coming for some of us. Same with me where I am. But I received no text. But then the emergency text service system when tested, it failed for me. (I am with Three and they failed everyone who is on Three because it didn’t work.)
I will be checking the weather forcast before going out to friends to see if I am still going.

      1. Oh red alert! Oh my. It’s just yellow alert here. But it looks ok for me to go out. I have had to walk in worse than this for work. But I have never been in a red alert situation. 😮

      1. You’re welcome Sara. I hope the storm passed and your weather has stabilised out there. Those storms coming in from the Atlantic Ocean can be something quite powerful. All the best and a great Saturday to you. ❤😊🌻

      1. I don’t blame you. Sending you good vibes to protect you. Where I live we also have alot of trees which are beautiful but when there is a storm, of course, everyone worries. Best wishes Phil
