It is traditional for us Brits to have a roast cooked dinner on a Sunday! Whether thats beef, lamb, pork, chicken, turkey, or a vegetarian nut roast.

Talking about food could get messy!

    1. I love meat, if cooked correctly. But, I also love fish, and luckily I I’m a big vegetable eater. Sunday roast is a must, isn’t it? 😋
      Well, I say that, I don’t cook a roast every Sunday…it’s a lot of prep, cooking etc. for one person.

      1. Oh cool! I haven’t had them in ages, but I remember liking them and bean sprouts too. They don’t tend to stock them in grocery stores here because they go bad fast. But I haven’t actually looked lately–will keep them in mind the next time I go!

  18. Eating meat is a necessity for human beings and a tasty way to get nutritional benefits. But to each his own. Those that shun meat always try to make their vegetables taste like meat so they must miss something. But meat is healthy and quite appealing. Here in Spain we love, I mean we adore eating meat, be it of cows, bulls, chicken, or pork which is one of our faves. Cheers Sara for a thought-provoking post. All the best. 🌻🌻

    1. I agree, I believe meat is necessary and tasty. A roast potato without meat fat would not be the same. One of the reasons I love visiting Spain is because of their beautiful meat dishes.
      The UK farmers suffer enough, without meat….well, what can I say!

      5. A dish made with ground beef, cooked with spices, olives, raisins, capers and perhaps some tomato sauce, then you can eat it with pasta or rice… It’s simple, tasty, nutritious and easy to make…
