  1. This is a stunning piece. The subtle colors of the palette on the left in contrast to the dismal and decaying stairs on the right, leaves a dramatic effect which is like a smack to the face. I especially like the way you painted a board on the stairs going down, closing access to the old decaying infrastructure. The effect is profound. Thank you for sharing Sara.

  3. I love the darkness of this, and some of your other images Sara👍. It made me think of Beksinski art, which I love! I can almost see some dark creature/figure just wanting to creep up those stairs all hunched over. This is of course a complete compliment👏! Overall the picture is stunning, how you have gone from clean contemporary to old, dark, and decayed is brilliant. The dark and rotting is just intriguingly inviting! Bravo…Kind regards, Jay😊

      I am fascinated with old buildings. The stories they could tell, hidden within the walls and the spaces.
