I’m thrilled and excited….

All invited to the exhibition 😁
‘Girding Waking Splinters’ (2025) Acrylic and ink on canvas (31.5″ x 24″)

Describe one positive change you have made in your life.
The most significant and positive change I made in my life…
Having more courage in expressing myself more honestly and openly through my artwork.
‘Featprints’ (2025) Acrylic and acrylic inks on canvas (30” x 20”)

This painting is the most figurative of my recent works. It is fuelled by my being more open and explicit about my past and its legacy. I still wish to leave the viewer with ‘room’ for alternate interpretations.

What activities do you lose yourself in?
What activities do I lose myself in…
I can’t say I lose myself in any activity. The activities where I get totally absorbed has to be painting and gardening. I also love a bit of construction and DIY.

Mixed media on watercolour paper.
I love pottering in my garden…

My latest painting…

What advice would you give to your teenage self?
What advice would I give to my teenage self…
I would tell myself:
You are a human being with feelings.
Allow yourself to grieve, to feel anger, sad, disappointed, hurt, used…
You are not guilty!
You are worthy!
Be kind to yourself.
‘Inna Turmoil’ (Acrylic and acrylic ink on canvas)

I would tell myself: Don’t internalise the pain and the belief.
Happy Sunday! ❤️

‘Surreal’ (Watercolour, ink on paper).
