My Ideal Cabin for Creativity

You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?

My Ideal Cabin for Creativity.

My perfect space would be a full, glass fronted cabin overlooking the ocean. Total silence apart from the sound of the ocean waves.

I would have a cozy area to read with a log fire to keep me warm in the evenings. Another area with a large solid oak desk to write. And a huge open space to paint. A space filled with natural light coming in from the open glass fronted doors. Music playing softly in the background whilst I paint. I like to dance, hence, the huge open space.

My Favourite Cars…

What is your all time favorite automobile?

My favourite cars that I have owned would be:

Audi A6 for motorway driving.

BMW Z3 for pottering around town in the summer.

But, now….I don’t own a car. I use public transport.

Happy Boxing Day! 🌞🌻❤️🧑‍🎄

Judge of character

Are you a good judge of character?

Am I a good judge of character…. 🤔

Sometimes, maybe, generally, but not all the time!

It really depends on how deceptive a person is!

Happy Sunday ❤️

When I’m laughing

When are you most happy?

When am I most happy? 🤔

I know it’s rather obvious, but I am most happy when I’m laughing! 🤣

But, more importantly, laughing with someone, or others.

Laughing is contagious, it forms connections, it breaks down barriers.

Real, gut retching laughter is unbeatable.

So, laughter, is when I’m most happy! 😍

I hope the link works….it made me giggle! 🤣😂

The Intimate Values Of A House And The Spaces Within It.

My Book:

‘The Intimate Values Of A House And The Spaces Within It’

The language of houses, homes and their interiors; practically, philosophically and psychologically in artists work.

The theme of house, home and their interiors are used in my art work to represent my own memories of the homes I lived in as a child; not simply in the physical sense, but also in a psychological sense.

This study explores the work of other artists who use this theme in their work. I discovered what led these artists to express their identities, beliefs, memories and lives in the language that represents home.

I also observed the similarities and differences in our concepts of home and in the way we present the home to the viewer.

What is the significance of home to you; practically, philosophically and psychologically?

This city is located in The Valley of the Sugar Mills. The ‘Plaza Mayor’ has cobblestone streets, pastel coloured houses, with Spanish Colonial architecture. It has a Cathedral in the main square.
