(4) Where am I?

A surrealistic geological formation of sand dunes.

These dunes consist of seven different coloured sand, (red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple & yellow) which settle in different layers.

These layers were formed by volcanic eruptions millions of years ago.

This spectacular waterfall is fed by three streams pouring into the river below. The waterfall is approx. 100 mtrs high.

Awww….they also have the amazing Aldabra tortoises in residence.

Do you get the feeling you’re being eyeballed? …..hehe

Where am I?

I am in the “Chamarel Seven Coloured Earths”, in the Rivière Noire District in south-western Mauritius.

How do you manage screen time for yourself?

Hmmm… I’m trying to think of something to say. 🤔 …how many minutes have I got left? 😱

Truth is. I don’t manage screen time for myself!

(3) Where am I?

The marina opened in 1859. Copper smelting had become a major activity in the lower valley in the 18th century, due to the plentiful supplies of coal. This area earned the nickname “coppercropolis’.

In 1905, a French sailing ship, ‘St Patrick’ exploded and sank in the South Dock. The dock closed in 1969 and reopened as a marina in 1982.

‘Redamancy’

What will your life be like in three years?

First and foremost…I hope I’ll still be in good health.

For the last 6 years I have been on a very long journey, on a road to recovery and healing; both physically and emotionally.

But I have spent those years alone. 😔

Ohhh…I’ve had a couple of dalliances; I won’t go into those on here 🤪😂😂. I would be mortified if they were to read my thoughts on our interludes. 😱🤣🤣

Prior to my healing, I never felt…at peace, contentment, at ease, safe, deserving, worthy…

I feel I have achieved my goals, both academically, and with my career as an Art Lecturer. I have exhibited and sold my artwork in numerous galleries; most notably…’The Royal Cambrian Academy of Art’.

What I would like to accomplish in three years time, is that I’ll be with a special person. Forging a life together, sharing the simple things; a meal, a pot of tea, watching a movie, Xmas, birthdays, intimacy, etc. But more importantly, sharing my life with someone. Living a life together, creating new memories, and LOVING and RESPECTING each other.

Redamancy: A love returned in full. ❤️

Oh, 😱 I nearly forgot: Finish and publish my memoir.

Let the adventures begin 😍😁

‘LAUGHTER’

Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

What a wonderful thought 🤔. I propose:

‘A day of laughter’

This is not an invented holiday…this will be an actual holiday!

The day will be laden with pure laughter. Bursting with beautiful, joyous, un-identified tears of joy!

It will be filled with rapturous glee, hilarity, and merriment!

Tears rolling down your eyes with enthusiasm and intoxicating revelry!

That is the holiday I prescribe.

(2) Where am I?

It holds the record for the ‘longest non-stop single track cable car”, at 5,801 mtrs in length. It is 1,487 mtrs from sea level.

I took the cable car journey back in 2014, a year after it opened. It was a wonderful experience, looking over the mountains, the trees and the waterfalls below.

I am in ‘Ba na hills‘ in the Truong Son Mountains, Da Nang, Vietnam.

(1) Where am I ?

A 10th Century village I visited in 2019. It has a cathedral and churches, one of which, was first built in the 9th Century. Caves carved into the rock where monks lived. Little alleys, cobbled streets, amazing doors, and the home of the philosopher Tommaso Campanella.

This beautiful town inspired me to paint it.
