  1. Sara, this is terrific! Congrats!

Love ❤️ the post. I also have this strange attraction to abandoned dwellings and I’m limited to photography to capture the essence. But it’s not nearly as personal… my viewpoint… as I’d like. Your paintings are so evocative I can almost smell the musty odor, hear bits of broken glass crunching beneath my feet as I quietly slip from room to room.

That door is…special, somehow. What DID happen to make that panel missing? There’s a short story. Love how you used that as a springboard for a deeper dive.

You have such a talent! 😎❤️👏

    1. Thank you so so much Darryl! 😊🤗
There is something very compelling about old abandoned buildings.
So many stories…but I’ll leave the short stories to you…😁
Thank you again, I really appreciate your kind words 🤗❤️😁

    1. Thank you so much 🤗.
I really enjoyed setting up the installation – it took a long time to get the positioning of the work right. It was wonderful to be asked to do a guest blog post 😁.
The art came long before the blog. Thanks again for your lovely comments. 🧡🌻

  2. A great post over there Sara. I love your descriptiveness for the water poem and your thinkings with regards to the door; your imagination and creativeness flowing and how you went about recreating it.
