This city is located in The Valley of the Sugar Mills. The ‘Plaza Mayor’ has cobblestone streets, pastel coloured houses, with Spanish Colonial architecture. It has a Cathedral in the main square.

Enjoy your visit to this fascinating city!
Where was I ?
I was in Trinidad, Cuba.

There is a UNESCO World Heritage Site near it that reflects the region’s history as a hub of sugar production during the 18th and 19th centuries.

It was an adventure, the return helicopter flight was hair raising. There was an electrical storm and we flew through it.
The doors in Cuba are fab, I could paint doors foreverβ¦ π

The houses and the cathedral remind me of the homes and churches in my hometown of Puerto Rico. However, I know thatβs not where you are. Since your last post was in Havana, Iβm guessing youβre still somewhere in Cuba, though Iβm not sure which town.
