Beach or mountains? Which do you prefer? Why?

As a child I lived by the ocean (not as nice as a this one), on the South Coast of England. There wasn’t any mountains, so the beach was my playground.
My Grandmother would swim in the sea everyday, even in the winter! 🥶🥶. I didn’t join her….😂

Nice post, congratulations

Mountains. I now live on the edge of the Rockies in Canada but grew up within view of the mountains in Scotland.

Beautiful! I’ve only been to Edinburgh, which I loved. There a plenty of mountains in Wales…but I yearn for the ocean. I would, also like to visit Canada. Do you miss Scotland?

I think your choice is quite clear Sara, and a perfect one. There is nothing like the ocean. I have always lived close to the sea (and when I lived in the US it was close to the Atlantic Ocean), and no matter how much I love the mountains, I still prefer the sea… Lovely pics! 😊🌺💛

No sign of a mountain in those pics is there! 😂
I now live at the foot of a mountain…a beautiful mountain 😍, but it’s not the sea. The sea has so many hidden, unseen, treasures to explore. And the sea/oceans look beautiful, but also very powerful!
Thank you, Francisco 💛….im still working on the 🛥️😍.
I’ll get myself a banana and some sticky tape… and sell that🤔

Good question. The mountains would be interesting, I’m more familiar with the ocean, however.

I get you Sara. I’m from the west coast in France and my whole childhood was sand and beach. No other place on earth is better than the sea to me, it’s so peaceful and relaxing for my body and mind.
Have a sweet weekend!!

Ah, the South Coast—where the beach is the playground and the sea is a winter wonderland! 🏖️
Your grandmother was clearly made of tougher stuff!
I can’t blame you for staying out of those icy waters—yours is a legendary level of dedication! 😂🌊
